The most direct route from Cagliari follows the SS130 highway westbound toward Iglesias. After roughly 30 km, take the exit signposted Villacidro / San Gavino Monreale and continue along the SP4 provincial road northward into the foothills. The total drive covers 46–51 km and takes about 47 minutes in normal traffic. Free parking is available along Via Ferraris, a residential street approximately 350 metres from the trailhead. A second overflow car park is located at the municipal sports field (Campo Sportivo Comunale) on weekends when the lower lot is full. Note: the final 1.2 km of road leading to the falls is a narrow single-lane track; yield to oncoming traffic at the marked passing bays. The road surface is paved but can be slippery after rain.
The regional carrier ARST operates Linea 211 from Cagliari Autostazione (Piazza Matteotti) directly to Villacidro.
