At the major grade-separated interchange near Villasor / Decimomannu (exit marked Villacidro / Villasor), merge onto the Strada Statale 196 (SS196). Follow this well-paved regional highway for 18 kilometres through olive groves and peach orchards straight into the southern entrance of Villacidro.
Upon entering Villacidro, follow the main arterial thoroughfare (Via Roma / Via Repubblica) through the town center, tracking the prominent brown cultural signs marked Cascata di Sa Spendula. The road curves northwest around the foot of the mountain for 1.8 kilometres, terminating directly at the paved municipal parking lot beside the pine park. Total driving time from Piazza Matteotti in central Cagliari is roughly 45 to 50 minutes.

- Distance to Waterfall Base: The walk from your parked car to the viewing bridge is only 150 meters along a level, compacted gravel path shaded by maritime pine trees. Wheelchair users and families with strollers can easily reach the timber footbridge.
- Weekend Crowds: On sunny spring Sunday afternoons (especially in April and May) and the Easter holiday (Pasquetta), local families gather for picnics in the pine grove. Arriving before 10:30 or after 15:30 guarantees an easy parking spot.
